Work Experience

Employed by the Houston Astros as a professional baseball player from 1990-1991. Assigned to the Minor League affiliate Auburn Astros of the New York-Penn League.

Employed by the Chariho Regional School District in 1991 as an Adapted Physical Education specialist for 13 years and an elementary and middle school Physical Education/Health teacher for 12 years. During that time played an integral part in the development of Adapted Aquatics program and Therapeutic Horseback Riding for students with special needs.

Assistant Baseball Coach and Head Coach for 5 years at Chariho High School. Assistant Coach for varsity boys basketball at Chariho High School for 2 years and Chariho Middle School Intramural Assistant Coach for 4 years.

Assistant Baseball Coach at The University of Rhode Island for 2 years.

Assistant Baseball Coach at Johnson and Whales University for 4 years.

Instructor of Martial Arts for Jay Hewitt’s TAEKWONDO in Attleboro, Massachusetts 2009-2011.

From 1988-1990 volunteered to assist in the training of Special Olympic athletes at South Kingstown High School while doing field work for the University of Rhode Island. Coach of the South Kingston Special Olympic team in 1989-90.
